Let Not The Light Go Out Poem by Chris Schleier, Jr.

Let Not The Light Go Out

When passing through the path ahead

fall not into your fears.

For, darkness swells within your fright.

Let not the light go out.

When crystal waters turn to mist

breakdown into tears.

For, streaks of woe become your might.

Let not the light go out.

When stars peek through the overcast

blanketing the sky

and constellations aren't in sight

Let not the light go out.

When passion, glory, victory

glow behind your eyes

It will illuminate the night.

Let not the light go out.
