Let's Dine Poem by Prince Kenny Osei

Let's Dine

Let's dine
Let's dine with the memories
Memories of the spewed years
Years when life was simply beautiful
Resplendent but worth-living
Years when we perched around our grannies
And hoped to get the elephant's share
Of the 'once upon a time' stories:
That always almost all households
And inhabitants came in droves
To sip an apt tale

Let's dine
Ler's dine with the long,
Lost letters imbibed in our thoughts
By the men of then
Norms, ethics, values & rubrics
Let's dine with the motive
To which reliance became our ally
Au! Moments to savour:
Even in a lion's pounce
Today, let's dine
