Prince Kenny Osei Poems

From the secluded circles of Navasha
Through Mombasa to the tarred roads
of Ulaanbaatar, you have tilled these
deserted land to bear sufficient harvests,
...

Let's dine
Let's dine with the memories
Memories of the spewed years
Years when life was simply beautiful
...

Nervous wreck, unabashed pride

Semaphoring chorus
...

You may call me whatever

Call me whatever
...

With these three-differently hued
stripes
And a uniquely positioned blackstar
We make a state:
...

I just felt a spank
A spank on my shoulders
Ironically, on my conscience
As the merest hints of indignation
...

On the stairs
I inhaled myrhh
As I by-passed every case
With my joyed-heart & thoughts
...

Undecided and been hammered
By the course of silence
The walls of babylon falls:
On his bossom it rests
...

Uhhmm! ! !

I thought I truly knew these days;
...

Nannies who care for the young:
Most likely have no children or
perhaps they do
but passion is what drives them into
...

The deepest stories of repulsion
Had been told & the unpropitous
Seasons have long ago being lived;
Not by us but by the integuments
...

In the nooks & crannies

When no applauds were shown
...

Oedipus' Rex
I stand still in my mind
And your preface lingers
I caught this aura
...

Just as the mirror
reciprocates all gestures given;
And such an aura
replicates the time
...

In that spring of a season
days passed the equinox
When it wasn't farce
to wear only one character
...

Cool, I mean cool as ever.

Anticipating these confrontations could end and bring abruptly the spark envisaged.
...

Through the hooks & cranies
Amid the raving & ranting of our social set-up, comes uncivilized traits and cultures.
Uncivilized traits our
Ancestry never had a nightmare of.
...

Chiming bells, uproaring thunder-like voices, merry making, upon the promulgation of a child
Cries emanates, just as the umbilical cord becomes set for cut
The daunts & wearies of the child opens in sheer despairity
Seeming 'a punishment' at birth
...

What would have happened if He never appeared? What were the expectant Jewish fraternity due to whisper to defend their image? Solemnly as the snail craws did He disappeared from His tomb and no clue evoked. From the mid of Jerusalem amid the indecision of the Roman soldiers. He showed up in a three-day time to some selected few. Disciples they were, taken aback and half-way through they saw a reflection in parables said years long.

Prince Kenny Osei Biography

To begin with, I am very much pertained to poetry or perhaps literature to a much more farther extent. I discovered my passion to write professionally in 2008. It has been my joy and aspiration to write since time immemorial. I believe that I have more to offer to the literature world. I conjure or perhaps attract my verve and inspiration from mostly nature, through experiences and the prospects of the not so far future.)

Amazing Women

From the secluded circles of Navasha
Through Mombasa to the tarred roads
of Ulaanbaatar, you have tilled these
deserted land to bear sufficient harvests,
for our sake
Now that we live in plenty
And our assignments in this journey
have been told, we say 'thank you'

To all the amazing women..
From the squares of Antananarivo through the port city of Antwerp
to the capital of Cabo Verde, Praia
you've lived not in disillusion but uniformity
You've all played courageous roles in our moral upbringing,
today we stand here as the formidable of creation
And our manliness is enormous

Now that the height of our fingers
have grown longer than their maiden
and predicted heights
And your caresses still straighten us
when waywardity befall us,
we voice out to say 'Ayekoo'

We would ever be grateful
To your solemn & heartfelt gestures
As we celebrate every passing day,
this very day & the days thereafter
We pray with reverence & humility that
Otweaduamp) n greases your elbows
with good rests, as we've taken the mantle and the baton to cater for your sleeps & wakes,
Until the days of old;
when the eternal departure comes knocking
Until then, we shall be there to comfort
you with assistance as you bestow unto us; your ever-daring sentiments to which we now shape our lives & utterances with reproach & celerity for today and the forth-coming generations

You've made us plausible
In this phase of existence
And we give our second gratuity to you;
Women, we are grateful

Those threatening days
when we kicked & turned in the womb,
As if we were been chased by anonymous spirits of today,
you remained calm & witness
all sorts of indifference inwardly

Now that we've outlived time
And we happen to know
Our right from our left,
we say, 'Ayekoo'

Until posterity calls,
We'll be there, in the bleak days
And never shall we depart
In the hay-days

Women; our grandmothers, mothers, wives, aunts, sisters, nieces & friends
We say that we are forever grateful to you, with our heads bowed &
our caps in our palms..
