Let's Pretend You'Re A Violin Poem by Derek Kuborn

Let's Pretend You'Re A Violin

Lets give in to the midnight hens.
And I'll shudder for you
when the warm air bends.
Lets pretend you're a violin
And you'll let me play you
Until the night ends.

Lets sit in our puppies dens.
And I'll kiss your forehead
When you tell me when.
Lets pretend you're a violin.
And you'll let me play you
Until our lives end.

Why am i waiting so long
To feel like i am so gone.
I'm wasting time on long shots
And reaching out for progress.
I realize you're distressed,
But would you please just kiss this.
My lips are satin, linen
For you to kiss my darling.
