Let The Memories Be The Judge Poem by Prince Ikezam

Let The Memories Be The Judge

Rating: 5.0

Let the memories be the judge
Of our finite life
The recollection of our pain
The times we struggled
The tears we shed
And the lessons we learnt

Let the memories be the advocate
Of our short life
When on the brink of despair
Yet refusing to give up
When we tarried
Trying to meet up with the expectations

Let the memories be the judge
Of our finite life
When we lived for others
And left our goals
When we thought we aren't perfect
Because of the tales of others

Let the memories be the advocate
Of our short life
When we were betrayed
And our hope was short lived
When we were mocked
And our desires crushed

Let the memories be the judge
Of our finite life
The mistakes we made
And our desire to turn back time
To rewrite our mistakes
And make us seem perfect

Let the memories be the advocate
Of our short life
When we laughed
As we shed tears of joy
When our hope was rekindled
As we moved on
