Let The Wind Blow Free

We’re saved by grace and all is well
We think we have it made
Till life becomes a living hell
When wealth begins to fade

We sit around and act like fools
Our work we fail to do
We break both God and nature’s rules
And look for something new

In all we do we seem to fail
Our minds are plagued with doubt
Too often then we land in jail
And find there’s no way out

So lost and bound we shake our head
Like sheep who’ve gone astray
We join once more the walking dead
When loved ones fade away

No longer do we feel God’s Son
We fail to understand
From out our lives The Wind has gone
And silence rules the land

We think our work will God suffice
We go to church and pray
But fail our lives to sacrifice
And walk God’s chosen way

The Wind’s not gone it’s only still
It’s we who’ve closed the door
But when we do The Father’s will
He’ll move just as before

It’s God it’s God it’s always God
It’s God we must put first
It’s always good to feel God’s rod
Especially when we thirst
