Let The Witty Be In Race Poem by Prabhakar Srivastava

Let The Witty Be In Race

O Ignorant world! You can not demolish me
From criticism and praise I am totally free
After extreme efforts I got rid of this mind
Now I have a pious soul and a heart so kind

I have brought my ego from a little to little
I care not of this body which is but brittle
Oh! How should I utter that I have fallen
In love, Alas! Words can't be thus woven

Only Her lovers know, She looks only hearts
Her lovers are blissful whatever She imparts
Oh! Who fears after getting Durga's grace
I have got the goal let the witty be in race

O Divine Mother! Let all test me and try
While in mother's lap, should a son cry?
