Tell them our story…
Let them know how we lived--
What we loved-- the way we laughed--
how we prayed-- why we grieved…

Tell them our story…
The things that we built--
from the ground to the sky

Please tell them our story…
The plans that we made…
The debts that we paid

Tell them of our glory--
our wants and our needs…

Let them know what we stood for…
What we believed

But most of all
let them know of our mistakes
lest they too be deceived
