Let There Be War Poem by Visato Kiso

Let There Be War

For I no longer cry for peace;
Peace, I have come to learn’d;
Is, but a mere pile of wealth;
For the wrong people-
The bureaucrats and the corrupt minds;
Siphon’d the hard earn’d values;
To a heap of haywires!

Let there be war!
For I have come to learn’d peace;
Let the best be bestow’d in war;
For war will not take shelter-
On fat bellies, nor twisted minds;
But seek the faithful depend’ble hands.

Let there be war!
For crook’d jewels and spongy chairs;
Shall be harden’d;
Thence, shall there be equality!
