Let Us Talk In Whispered Tones Poem by Umesh Patra

Let Us Talk In Whispered Tones

Let us talk in whispered tones
On the beds on mobile phones
Utter words unintelligible in muffled voice
Drowning in the drowsy sea of silence

Throw the world out of the blanket
Open the eyes and see the darkness

Lets not let the infiltrating light
Bring in the chill of world outside
Let us count in winter night
The molecules of carbon dioxcide
