Lets Do It Again Poem by ERNEST CLARY

Lets Do It Again

Rating: 5.0

In my little sleepy town
not much happening
when the sun goes down
till one night when I was in my chair rocking
upon my door I heard a knocking
I went to explore
to see what was knocking upon my door
I opened the door in a bit of despair
lo and behold
no one was there
being astonished
and somewhat admonished
I went to sit back down
before I hit the seat
I heard another beat
having little doubt
I went to check it out
I turned on the light
so I could see in the night
again no one was in sight
so I went on to bed
as I was laying
I knew it was kids playing
I heard them laughing, saying
lets do it again
