You want to spend your life with me
But my feelings are not so very sure
Fools rush in love blindly I heard
And I've been there a few times before
Insecurity you may call it and I agree
But my eyes are more open this time
I know these feelings I have for you
Yet, I feel it's just not the right time
Let's take it slowly -
I feel all the love you have for me
But I spent enough time more alone
I've grown to appreciate my freedom
To come and go with nobody at home
Perhaps time knows the very answer
For now I just can't rush in so fast
