I hope you know that I would never leave your side
if I could I would make it right
I done tried about a thousand times
and I'd go another million miles

Felt like somebody took my soul
when I knew I couldn't come back home
many times I lost myself
didn't know where to go

Sometimes we can't see the hurt we make
hands up I done made mistakes
you can blame me all my life
and tell the world how your so great

Just give back the reason I'm here
many times I was almost there
I got up and I crawl right back
even though I was nowhere near
