Thessalonian church, my words I send,
A letter, with love and concern to share,
For in your faith, may it not bend
But stand firm, with love and grace to bear.
A church, nestled in the city of Greece,
A beacon of light, amidst the dark,
A source of hope, for those seeking peace,
With your faith, you leave a lasting mark.
But oh dear church, I must remind,
Of the trials and tribulations to come,
For in your faith, you must not be blind,
But stand strong, with Christ as your only plum.
Hold on to the teachings of our Lord,
For in His love, you shall be restored,
In unity, let your love be shown,
To those within, and those beyond your reach.
For in love, the body of Christ is grown,
And His love, is what we must all preach,
Do not forget, to pray without cease,
For it is the will of God, to give thanks.
And in His presence, may you find peace,
For He is faithful, to fill our life's blanks,
So Thessalonian church, I urge you now,
To stand firm in faith, and always allow.
The love of Christ, to guide your every way,
To be a light, in this world of dismay,
And when His glorious return draws near,
May you be blameless, without fear.
