Letters Poem by Marilena Now

Letters

You write me long and secret letters, you ask a thousand questions
They often are so filled with sweetness, at times their words are bitter
You wait long hours for the perfect answers, you pray to find the reasons
What sign is right for you to follow, which road takes you to the true glitter.

I hear you bursting into laughter, I hear your silent cry, your whispers
Your breath seeking the sacred rhythm, your never ending search for wisdom
I see it all right through your eyes, reflecting light, they are my mirrors
Even when closed or opened wide, they always may perceive my kingdom.

The answers that you seek were hidden since the beginning, in plain view
Beautiful stories, songs of meaning, carried by wind, sunk in the sea
All threaded on a golden canvas of spiraling chords and strands, resew
The links to the Infinity, for souls prepared to listen and sing along with me.
