Letters To The Queen Poem by Ndamulelo Doctor Tshivhandekano

Letters To The Queen

Like any woman warrior, there can be internal scars after battles.
My queen, for others you fight, yet the night sees not your sleep.
In these letters, there is a fresh, soulful breeze.
Through your internal sight, let it carry you deep.

Come and see, is that not anxiety? Does it haunt you?
So it was with King David.
But in Psalms 94: 19, there is something God did.
Wait! Now, which side by inner sight is that anxiety?
Behold, all I see in him is clarity.

Come and see, is that not fear? Does it haunt you? So it was with the three Hebrew boys.
But a moment later in Daniel 3, Babylon's threats were like toys.
Wait! Their courage was rewarded.
Behold, what they could have feared is now demoted.

Come and see, is that not wisdom? Do you need more of it? So did King Solomon.
By wisdom, he obtained a listening heart.
There was no problem he could not outsmart.
Once you have it, humbly treasure it.

Come and see, is that not love?
Do you need more of it? So do we all.
Love covers a multitude of sins.
Love stops and conquers all the ruins.
It reciprocates and gives, hence it is the greatest.

My queen, be well in your soul.
For the sun brings me no light better than your smile.
I miss being filled with your laughter like water in the River Nile.
The Lord Jesus is your source of clarity, courage, wisdom, and love.
In all situations, put Him above.
