I can't let it go
No it can't let me go
And I feel down inside me
The emptiness grow
Each day it grows stronger
Each night grows much longer
But there's nothing inside me
To stop its cold flow
I grow ever weaker
My love seems much meeker
The whole time it's growing
Oh it's growing in me.
So I plan now to end this
I plan to give up this
I know where I'm going
But how could this be
There's no light in her eyes
As she tightens the ties
While the whole time I'm ready
To succumb to my fate
And the selfish all staring
Each breath overbearing
She cries out to stop me
But she is too late.
