I didn't know how
I didn't see beyond now
I could not be controlling
I could not be contorting

The world didn't end
in fact it was just the right blend
hanging back not trying to fill in the gaps

I didn't pull I didn't push at all
it just happened to be true
who knew
life doesn't have to be contained
I don't have to be ashamed

I, m learning to love all of me
even when I do things I rather not see
I can count on me to heal and peel me back together

Letting me happen is the right thing it seems
letting life happen let it come to me
letting life happen and I can finally breathe.
