Levity Poem by Minerva Agriam

Levity

Fleeting happiness & wonderful
Moments,
Seeing beautiful visions not in
This world;
Ecstasy of the mind that
See nothing,
The heart understood its
Joys;
The eyes see not the fact
Or reason,
While the mind has not
Comprehended.

Anyone & anything may have
Happiness,
But the levity of self is far
Reached;
The soul has it, the flesh
Devalued it.
Who can separate soul from the flesh
Without killing?
But in levity, anything
Is possible;
Death or life is nothing,
But only joy.
