Libation Limits Poem by John Sensele

Libation Limits

Beer bruises the brain
Wine wows whims
Methanol mystifies your strain
Water adds to wholesomeness creams.

Beer brushes bliss
Wine withholds wisdom
Methanol mellows a kiss
Water preserves life into God's kingdom.

Beer burns the liver
Wine wanders down your throat
Methanol rains a regret river
Water wears a wholesome coat.

Beer baffles beauty
Wine wallows in villi
Methanol no better than tea
Water the best libation on which you can rely.
