Libra Is Faux - Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

They made us believe in Libra.
I believed in Libra,
but no.

Libra is faux. Libra is a lie.

It is a lie to make us believe
in fairy tales
so that the Brothers
could gain profit.

Libra is faux. Libra is a lie.

There is no such thing as
a tangible path
towards Libra,
assuming the object exists.

I have stepped upon the path
and fallen,

and stepped upon it again
and fallen,

and again
and again
and again.

So did the multitude,
but they believed
that gravity
was simply a current -
a detour to Libra.

Libra is faux. Libra is a lie.

Many have tried to justify
but I will not falter
under the Puppeteer's
hypnotic gaze.

I have awoken,
and I will not cease to see
the truth.

Libra is faux. Libra is a lie.

I have filled my bottle
with jargon
and threw it into
the certain ocean of ranting.

But words cannot -

words do not weigh anything.

But tears do.

Libra is faux. Libra is a lie.

Although the scale exists,
'Zero' does not.
