Lies - Poem by Evie smith

Twist, contort, destroy
Why do we tolerate lies?

Lies which effect people
Even if we know it's a lie
You've planted the seed

Imagination more lies and you
Make that untrue thought grow
Grow so big it takes over

Where is the person i knew?
Gone, empty, different.
Lies of course!
Your lies,
you planted the seed
you deal with the circumstances.
