Lies And Fake Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Lies And Fake

Happiness comes from near and far
When all saddness is locked in a jar;
That's how I feel when it comes to me
Then others speak and I wish to just be free;
It doesn't matter what colors you wear
It's just the smile to show that you care;
But the smile on your face I know is fake
The words you speak are lies, it gives me a head-ache;
I can tell by your face that I am not approved
When I've tried and tried but I'm never good enough for you;
So don't lie by telling me everything is ok
When you know it's not, just get out of my way;
For years I've tried to pretend I don't care
But deep down inside I've been roaring like a bear;
Your lies can not cover up anymore
One more time and I'm out the door;
So I suggest You stop all these stupid little lies
Unless you want me to walk out of your life.
