Acid Tears And Hope Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Acid Tears And Hope

Tears, tears run down my cheaks
My legs go numb and I grow weak;
My heart and my soul cry out in pain
As i suffer and sufficate with the stress I gain;
I cry and cry in search from some relief
The blood doesn't help, so I cry with mor grief;
My life can not end, I have too much to loose
But I need some help, so what do I choose;
I need and I want this pain to go away
Like a 'drug', a relief, to help me through the day;
But that is wrong, I can't do this anymore
Why would I do this? And I fall to the floor;
My acid tears burn through the ground
Then I look up to what i found;
Maybe a light to brighten my day
Or maybe a light to end all my pain;
Either way it has made me smile
So I know I'm going to live another while.
