Life - Poem by ChiChi Ihe
Life is a road we walk for years
It brings joy and it brings pain
It comes and goes like rain or tears
But I plan to ride it like a train.
We run and run for years on end
A constant cycle with no aim
We labor the fields with nothing to spend
Still we rejoice that we got game.
Pointless days and Pointless nights
Full of many smelly graves
I pray for darkness to be light
But am stuck and should be brave.
Life is full of darkness and shame
But hey am not the one to blame!
