Life - Poem by Ruby Button
So mysterious - so complicated
Never knowing what the future will be
Changing again and again
For each one to wait and see.
There is beauty everywhere
Trees - flowers - clouds above
A small baby's laugh
An elderly person - who is loved.
With all the beauty in the world
You ask God, "Why me?"
One is taught not to question
The working of God's decree.
Are there more tears than laugher?
Or does it just seem that way -
Will smiles and happiness come aging?
As on your knees you pray.
God takes away,
But blesses you each day -
You pray for smaller crosses,
One not so hard to bear, you say.
Have faith in God - He will bless you
The answer will come someday
Laughter and happiness will return
With glorious reward,
for He will hear you pray.
