Life Poem by Raunaq Chopra

Life

Life is a road, a road not straight
Like a path in the woods
A road that decides our fate
A path where one moves with time that never stood

Life is a leaf
It will grow, dry, fall
Life is brief
But that is the fate of all

Live is a river, it has a source
In the end it meets the heavenly sea
There, ends its life force
Like all of you and me

Life is a gift
Sent from the skies
Life is swift
With no time for goodbyes

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a brief description of the transient nature of life. It does not explicitly state, but is meant to speak of the futility of seeking for permanence in transience
