The love they gave me—it hurts.
So I think I learned love that way.
I do things I regret.
I forgive things I cannot forget.
Sometimes I feel like a hero,
and then I feel foolish for doing that to myself.
I always doubt.
I always overthink.
I always feel sad, angry, and alone.
You fake happiness.
Fake it until you make it, they say—
but you will just fake it,
and make yourself believe you made it.
I still don't know how to live—
I only know how to survive.
The battle isn't with life,
or with people—
it's with yourself.
Give yourself power.
I don't control my life,
nor the way I feel.
It's my life—
but how can I claim something
I don't have power over?
Chaos is a sea—
you cannot make a desert out of a sea.
You just learn how to swim.
You are your beginning,
your life,
your ending.
Please—
live fully.
Curiosity
is too strong not to follow.
