Life And Death Poem by Gerry Legister

Life And Death

Days like today
scattered among the rest
somewhere along the way
they are the best
To find all the reasons
existence is the shortest of time
Scattered among the seasons
There is no reason or rhyme
Why our memories don't last long
But occasionally crosses the mind
At that moment, they feel strong
Losing the fear of everything we find
In existence, of our life and death
ashes are scattered among the breath
