You spare a passing glance
As I look away in shame
I'm taking every chance
For you to remember my name
I feel your eyes on my face
The pressure makes me blush
When you play your ace
It gives me a head rush
My eyes drift into the distance
My mind in a dream like state
You never seemed to notice
How hard it was to wait
You touched my hand
As gentile as a feather
You kissed me in the sand
Not minding the weather
Sweet summer scents fill the air
As the waves chatter behind us
Lilac and lavender placed in my hair
We say our vows like a chorus
You look into my eyes
As you tell me you love me
This is never laced with lies
Our love as deep as the sea
And as we grow old and weary
Looking at the sunset, purplish-blue
Our thoughts never dreary
This love always true
And as we die hand in hand
Never passing age twenty
Our bodies to lye in the land
But our hearts were never empty
You may see death as the end
Or maybe even the beginning
No matter how we see it
Its always the same
Tock, Tick, Tock
An almost unreal measure
I'm always on the clock
Never time for pleasure
It is almost time to go
Although we have just begun
I guess I'm gonna lye low
Haha, NAH. I'm gonna have FUN! !
