Life Continues Poem by Emmanuel Odei Oduro

Life Continues

Life Continues
Life continues our clarion call
If Jesus is our foundation
Whatever our situation
No matter our condition
For it is finished was His declaration
He, has the world overcome
Nothing, can us overwhelmed

If Jesus distinctly declared
He is forever with us yoked
That none can us apart, yanked
The abundant life giver is ours
Why dare some lose hope?
Timidly doing the terrible
Entertaining suicidal thoughts
When tragedy of any colour strikes?

Life must certainly continue
Albeit any trials or tragedies
Whether orphaned or barren
Whether widowed or widowered
Whether rejected or dejected
Or have a deceased or a disease
Whether divorced or unattached
Whether in artificial or natural wreck
We must remember our identity
Faithfully and fearfully declare
Life continues in Christ Jesus
The devil has done its worse
The final say is Jesus' inalienable right
He says, the amazing best is still ahead

Jesus knows no impossibilities
He is our Lord and Saviour
So head or tail; rain or shine
We are more than conquerors
For our redeemer never fails
Our Rock never lies nor repents
Thus regardless of our reality
We have the daring to declare
Life continues, with godly gusto
