When you have that one moment in the day
Where you just break into a smile,
And you take that one peaceful breath
Every once in a while.

Hold onto that feeling
Hold onto it tight,
It’ll help you on days
When you have sadness to fight.

It’s these moments that remind you
That life goes on,
It’s alright if you stumbled
Made a decision that’s wrong.

“This too shall pass”
There will be a way out,
And if you still feel defeated
And can’t get rid of that doubt.

Remind yourself of that moment,
Remember that smile,
Take that peaceful breath,
Every once in a while.

And something inside you will stir
You don’t have to understand what,
But know this my friend
It’s the strength within that you’ve got

You can take the next step
You will run that next mile,
Just remember to breath
And remember to smile.
