Life In A Perspective Poem by Abbas Saify

Life In A Perspective

The sun has rose and the day has begun,
race of money the mortals will run,
don't you think that some exhausting day,
aloof on a crunchy bed you'll lay,
thinking about a different vocation you should have tried,
knowing in that path you could've died.

The kind of thrill you would've experienced,
some would be calm some brutally fierce,
at the end of each event you would've thought,
the agony is yours for which you fought,
let there be less dollars in your pocket,
but won't they be enough to satisfy your wallet.

People do follow others for the resurrection of money,
but it's inexplicable what's their agony,
sometimes it's alright not to be creative,
but only when there is no other alternative,
like a flowing river go where your heart runs,
the sun has rose and the day has begun.
