Life Is A Blessing Poem by Wolkine Stany

Life Is A Blessing

I'm in battle everyday because I'm covered in flesh
I abstain from sin because it is the wages of death
Just when I thought I had nothing left
I realized that each second I breathe
Is better than any other thing I can receive
A blessing for me does not have to be gems and pearls
Being blessed does not mean conquering the entire world
Nor is it having a great amount of girls
That would make me doltish- I cannot live like this
Living to please my flesh will make me unrighteous
No different from fornicators or being adulterous
I refuse to treat God like this
To live is enough blessing for me
Whether it be here or eternity!
