Life is a stream of stories
A new day, a new story
Some confront our fears
Others unmask our queers
Through some our dearest dreams we achieve
In dawn and dusk
We labour and strive
To find who we are
Who we were
Who we want to be
This chase is elusive, embedded in futility
Our stories old and new at once
Flowing seamlessly and sublime
Constantly changed by the passage of time
Until a time it flows no more.
