Life Is Inevitable Poem by Nathan Jarvis

Life Is Inevitable

You’re just holding yourself back,
Motivation is what you lack,
It’s written in white and black,
It’s not measured by the money you stack,

Life will seem so lonely,
It’s never you and you only,
Not everything is promised to be holy,
But yet hearts beat so coldly,

The human race continues breeding,
Some need help leading,
There are empty mouths that need feeding,
Broken hearts never stop bleeding,

Some enjoy living out the family name,
Not wanting to attend colleges like Notre Dame,
Others thinking this is just a game,
Just remember you’re the only blame
