Break me open
empty out the blood of life
Ive been chosen
for all of this despite
my every downfall
that you see inside
but I would lose it all
I would run and hide
Let me see your face
This is my desire
In your glory would I die
Engulfed in holy fire
Tear my heart out
and show it all around
and destroy me in my doubt
and put me in the ground
willmy mind be granted silence
will my soul be granted sleep
can my spirit have deliverance
when my body's six feet deep
my God and my conviction
the judge of me as well
which way the right direction
when all paths lead to hell
So narrow is the pathway
I walk a thin tightrope
will I fall tomorrow or today
my balance just false hope
