Life Long Protection Poem by mandy urgolites

Life Long Protection

I lie awake at night and wonder whats ahead,
I think about my future and the dreams that dance about my head,
I know nothing of my future spouse nor the number of little children running through the house,
I don't no the things that will flash before my eyes, I don't no the depth of all the little lies.
I don't know the struggle I will have to face, I don't know the tears that down my cheek they race.
I don't know much about the life ahead,
but I know there is a devil that wants me good and dead.
I know I will have heartache
and there will be chances I will need to take
I know there will be trials that will cause my heart to break.
Though like a shelter in a storm, I know there is a Savior who will keep my safe and warm,
He'll help me through the trials and guide me through the chances, he'll carry me through the valleys, and lead me through the dances.
He'll hold me through my sorrows, and help me see clearly the hope for all tomorrows, he'll show me the world... the world that needs him dearly.

"Come, follow me! I will teach you how to catch people instead of fish."
Matthew 4: 18-20

'You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble. You surround me with joyous songs of salvation.' Psalm 32: 7
