Life Oh! Life Poem by Krysteenah Harbyhodun

Life Oh! Life

Life oh! Life
It is full of mysteries
The Good and The Bad
It is sweet but
When it strikes,
It strikes like a Thunder..
We learn everyday
We distinguish between the good and the bad
It last only for a period of time.
Life is full of hatred and love
It despise
It saddens one's heart
It brings smile to our face..
Life is full of troubles and fear
It's a challenge we must encounter
Leaving you confused for a moment

Life oh! Life
It brings out the best in you
It's full of the foolish and the wise one
It leads to destruction

Life oh! Life
It can never be forgotten because
it plays a vital role in a man's life

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A commendable slice of prosaic verse, young lady......If you don't mind an ounce of constructive suggestion, watch your choice of punctuation...The employment of effective punctuation is so much more paramount when writing in a prosaic style as opposed to contemporary free-verse whose break-points are easily defined by stanzaic structure. In prose, it's like reading a book...The reader must know when you want them to pause, and be able to identify the end of a thought.Prose is not as easy as it may appear! t In your above work, there are breakpoints which are not recognized by IE: comma, colon, ellipsis or ellision. That said...keep that pen pumping..I enjoyed the read! ~FjR~
