Life's A Rose - Poem by Katherine J. Ison
Amid the fragrant petal grows, stalks of green and thorns in rows.
Yet every petal, every lead, with dew is dipped and sunlight kissed.
But all's important to existence least it be spoiled, wither, and fade.
So , we too need roses and thorns, sunshine, rain, and storm.
To help us live, and gives a fragrant, blooming, rose.
A Friend's Prayer I thought of you and said a prayer today.
For strength and faith and sunshine and laughter for your day.
For joy and peace, and love and wisdom, and grace abundantly.
To see, to feel, to know, you're never alone.
