Life’s Illusion Poem by Speedy Hartman

Life’s Illusion

By; John “ Speedy “ Hartman

What if..?

On some celestial plain in an unknown Universe..
When we’re born, we’re laid out on a magnificent floor next to the person who was born milliseconds’ before us..
And on the other side lies the person born milliseconds’ after us..
Row after row this process continues non-stop..
And on this floor are billions of people, from the very oldest to the very youngest..
We spend our entire existence sleeping..
And what we precede as a “ Life “ is no more than a elaborate dream, an Illusion if you will..
Then when we die, we’re simply pick up and removed from the floor…..

What if..?
