Life’s Living Song

Rating: 5.0

Feeling distress suffering pain
Witnessing world decay
For grace, for love salvation to reign
Lord change more lives today

I’ve read Your book, seeing Your light
With truth my cup I’ve filled
Eternity’s now too plain in sight
For me to be self-willed

For me my God, to play the fool
Dancing with Satan’s throng
Now freedom’s come let wisdom rule
Let virtue be my song

Take up my soul Lord, hold me fast
Holding my hand in yours
Shield me from life’s stormy blast
Open life’s pearly doors

When stormy winds begin to blow
Prompting my wayward past
The refuge of Salvation’s glow
Will shield against the blast

Are You my God not my defence
Is truth now not my sword?
Did Christ suffering recompense?
Become my reigning Lord

Oh yes my God, and so much more
My Shepherd, Guide my King
My Anchor, Ship, Salvation’s Shore
Life’s endless song to sing

Lord thank You for astounding grace
For such amazing love
Bequeathing an eternal place
In Your Kingdom high above…..

My battle is just beginning and for me I hope I have strength to get though. Your soothing words shone
