What did the mountain do or say?
That made you fail your climb
That made you turn another way
To slip and slide in slime
That mountain wasn’t all that high
You could have help received
Could possibly the reason’s why
You haven’t quite believed!
What should God do when plagued with doubt?
You disbelieve His Son
When then temptation’s comes about
You’ve no way out but run
Run how run where is left to hide?
Where on earth’s to flee
Without The living Christ inside
A prisoner’s never free
Make no mistake you’re locked in jail
To something someone bound
Without some help you’ll surely fail
To walk on solid ground
Get up, have faith, trust in The Lord
To Heaven cry again
Will God not take His mighty sword?
And sever every chain
Just call on The One who made you
The One who loves to care
Return, rejoin His chosen few
Who’ll help your load to bear
No mountain’s ever high enough
No weight can keep us down
No enemy of greater stuff
Can rob us of life’s crown
