Life's Race Poem by Bryan Seyffert

Life's Race

Sometimes I lie awake at night
My head full of thoughts of you
I wander if things are going right
Have I made your dreams come true

Years have gone by
Promises were made
I swear it's not a lie
Over our future I've prayed

Great things are coming
For us it's true
Just keep on running
You with me and me with you

This life long race is far from over
Many memories to make
Lots of ground to cover
Leave your fears in our wake

Our future is not defined by where we're from
Our future is defined by the dreams we pursue
Looking back now at how far we've come
I'm sure glad I'm running this race with you
