Life's Ride Poem by Rashed Masri

This feeling I've never felt, This truth I've never said, I won't sleep in the fallen bed, & in the cursed chair I won't sit, I'm sick of living in this sorrow, I need someone to lead me to the light, someone to follow, I need someone to tell me what's wrong and right, and some confidence I can barrow, someone to stand with me and fight, I missed the colour white, but black is my only sight, I missed the little flying kite, but all i see is the blackbirds that always bite, , , , , ,
This land is full of black bones, Dark sand and death stones, ,
The truth I've never known, My pictures I've never drown, ,
The answers I can't find, My tied body & my closed mind, ,
This is a non-stop darkness rain, This is a non-stop ride again & again, ,
Yeah, my hell, my ride, my punishment, my life, I'm asking for mercy but I'm getting the fear, wishing a smile but giving onle tears, words of desperation, whispered in my ears, everyday of my life, i spend like a black year, I wish the end was far, but the finish line became near, just stop their and don't run, face you destiny, face this gun, wait for the morning, & burn inside the fires of the rising sun, don't be afraid, it's only death, you'll die like everyone else, it's only faith, and advise for everyone, you were born naked with none, and if you get the world's king with the golden crown, you'll die and get buried naked carrying your bones, , , , , ,

To make the others laugh, I used to lie, , & in the end my heart got left for the sorrow to cry, ,
We all think there are heavens in life, , & we're gonna enjoy this ride, , But we must breath like this is the last time, , the only reason for living is to die, , , , , ,
