Life Was Given To Me



Life was given to me
46 years ago
By my best friend that is called God
And some people say I am too religious
Others say that I am full of myself
Why should I turn a blind eye to religion?
And why shouldn't I love God?
I am me
And I am free to love who I want to love
That is fair
And I will continue to love the ones I love
