My friend, you passed away
I’m still sad, till this day
The life I had with you,
Cannot compare to anything new,
You were my love, my light so bright,
You were like the stars shining in the night,
The sun couldn’t dare to compare itself to your smile,
The thoughts you of send my heart in denial,
Your face showed no mercy or plea,
You look at me with those eyes so sweetly,
Your arms brought warmth and trust,
I thought I had to be wrapped in your arms, I must,
Strength, not ever weak,
You were just so extremely meek,
My heart still hurts, my tears still fall,
When I pray, I hear you call,
“I’m not gone, look around,
Every touch, thought, sight or sound,
I’m there all the time,
Up the mountain, I will help you climb, ”
This life is just oh so new,
Because this is life without you.
