Lifeless Poem by Lauren Harper

Lifeless

Sorrow and despair,
Now claim her face.
Her light is gone,
She has lost her pace.

Peace is gone.
Her eyes now rain,
From the pain,
Of today.

Her eyes become dull,
Hollow and ill.
Her joy has been taken,
But sadness has been put still.

The body is lifeless, her breath is gone.
The heart sat still,
Surely no one would come.
Her scars remain, yet they still live on.

The slices they made.
The blood that was spilled.
The lives that had been lost,
To deaths cruel end.

But the end of this tale,
Has yet to come.
For the story still lives on
It certainly can be anyone.
