Lifes Dice? Go Gamble. Poem by Leelaine Grosch

Lifes Dice? Go Gamble.

Play I russian roulette with my heart?
For my minds out of range
Shoot shoot, regressions blame game?

Took I a bullet to my chest,
But my heart does not bleed
I try and figure out my own excessive needs...

Like you, I'm lost to my shadow...
As I watch the twine of my life slip away
Like the silk from black widows

Does these words not your mind comprehend...
For you do not read with the minds eye
The minds heart offend?

The insufferable silence in my home
Like dew upon a rose
My hearts tear falls ice,
Fresh mountain water froze

Change I, change I, I went forth, upon my knees...
Beg he I, dismiss my pain please

Many a nights, I not known my bed...
I burn in my silent suffering, as God holds up, my tired head

Dream I a dream? In days light?
Or has my soul come seen,
Lifes eternal night...
