These last words to you and I
I speak with love and affection
If this is what was meant to be
Then together we may flicker out

Love is such a beautiful thing
It lightens up your life
To one another happiness comes
With love, happiness goes.

We may no longer light each other
We may just stand there side by side
Shining for each others love
But seldom vows we take

So as we draw close to the end
The words don’t come too easy
So imagine this if you would
One and all we are put out
But together we may spread the light
And shine on together
